We Meet

Members meet at 2 p.m. on the last Wednesday of each month in Holy Trinity Church Hall, Viewfield Terrace, Dunfermline, KY12 7JE.
New members are welcome to add their names to our waiting list as we have the maximum number of members that our venue can accommodate at present.

In June 2018 Dunfermline Friendship Centre will have been ongoing for 22 years.

Our Events

  • We have two coach trips each year one in May, the other in September.
  • There is also a Christmas lunch held at the beginning of December.

31st Oct: “Vienna” - John Burrell.

28th Nov: “Britannia – from sea going vessel to floating visitor Attraction” - Derek Miller.

5th Dec: “Christmas Lunch”, City Hotel, Dunfermline at 12 noon.

January – June 2019

30th Jan: “Robert Burns – His Life, His Poetry, His Songs” - Roy Johnstone.

27th Feb: “Musical trip around Dunfermline” - Alison Baxter.

27th Mar: “AGM followed by Game” - Committee.

24th Apr: “Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance” - Karen McDonald.

29th May: “Songs from Dunfermline Folk Club” - Dunfermline Folk Club.

26th Jun: "Dunfermline in the 1800 to 1900’s” - George Beattie.

10th to 13th May: Dunfermline Friendship Centre Holiday to Cumbria Grand Hotel, Grange-Over-Sands.

Brian's Pointless Quiz

After the March AGM everyone enjoyed chairman Brian McLaren's version of the popular TV quiz game "Pointless".

Eight members took part in the quiz and the winners of Brian's "Pointless" trophies were Maureen Wrightson and Val Simpson.
