Welcome

"Not the New Year Party"

In 1993 a group of socially minded folk decided that there was a need for a club for active retired people in Worthing other than the somewhat specialist groups of U3A and Probus etc. They set up a small committee and raised funds for the setting up of a Friendship Centre. Things went well and the establishment of the centre was publicised in the local press and the first meeting was held in Ferring Village Hall on 11th May 1993.

Many tides have ebbed and flowed since those early days and now the Centre is well established.

Like other centres our membership varies and currently we have about 40 active members. Guests are always welcome to visit us and it would be a pleasure to meet members from other centres who may be holidaying in the area
